2006 OCAN Events Fourth Annual HERA Ovarian Cancer Climb for Life

Once again, the HERA Foundation is hosting its climbing event in Vegas!

This year, for the first time, there will be outdoor climbing at Red Rock as well as indoor climbing at the Red Rock Climbing Center (formerly Powerhouse), 8201 W. Charleston Blvd. Las Vegas, NV

A two-day gym event including climbing, learn to climb and skills clinics with pro athletes, yoga, free massages and a big Las Vegas-style bash!

Everyone welcome! Adults and children, experienced or first-time climbers.

Take the Red Rock challenge and see how many "feet" you can accumulate in this one day gym event. Top fundraisers awarded great gear packages - tents, sleeping bags, packs and more. Prizes for top climbers in women and men's categories: beginner, intermediate and advanced.

All proceeds benefit the HERA Ovarian Cancer Foundation. HERA gives over 90% of their proceeds to Ovarian Cancer research organizations, with a portion to OCAN for patient quality of life programs. OCAN is pleased to be involved in such a great event!


The mission of the HERA Women's Cancer Foundation is to empower women to take control of their health, to empower scientists to seek new directions in ovarian cancer research, and to empower communities to provide support. (HERA is an acronym for Women's Health, Empowerment, Research and Advocacy.)
