Aug 21, 2004 - "World of Women Conference", Las Vegas, NV
Liz (behind the booth) and Tina (in black/white stripes) spread the word about OCAN at the World of Women Conference. This event was held at the Stardust Pavillion from 8AM to 6PM on Saturday, August 21, 2004. The event was attended by thousands and interest was very high.

6th - National Cancer Survivor Day, exhibit at Summerlin Hospital

4th - Violin led meditation session by Rebecca Ramsey for survivors of ovarian cancer. The Las Vegas Review Journal and The Neon sent photographers to cover the story.
7th - 8th - American Cancer Society Relay for Life - OCAN provided a team, exhibited with a large tent at the relay, invited our survivor members to join the invitation-only survivor dinner, and an OCAN member recited the prayer to kick off the Relay.
13th Lis gave a presentation about OCAN
23rd - OCAN Support Group joined for a memorial brunch in Crispin's honor
Lobby Nevada politicians for passing of Department of Defense bill providing funds for Ovarian Cancer research.

3rd - Day of Indulgence - OCAN hosted a half day of massage, manicures, reflexology, aromatherapy, craniosacral therapy, makeovers and other fun, indulgences for survivors of gynecological cancers. The event took place at the Sherry Goldstein Yoga Sanctuary and was kicked off with a yoga session taught by Sherry herself!
8th - Jewish Church presentation
14th - 17th - Takefuji Classic LPGA Golf Tournament at Las Vegas Country Club - OCAN had a large exhibit tent at the 10th tee for the entire tournament, as well as two pages of coverage in the tournament program.

6th - OCAN selected by the National Association of Women Business Owners to receive a donation from the annual Women of Distinction Awards Dinner. OCAN's Director spoke at the Award dinner to an audience of over 500 people, our organization was featured in the Las Vegas InBusiness magazine, we accepted the donation at a membership luncheon for NAWBO, and we had our letter printed in their membership newsletter.
16th - 17th - Exhibit at William Sonoma/Pottery Barn employee health fair in Summerlin.
